Short Hills Country Club first opened for play in 1967. The golf course was designed by Ted Locke. D.A. Weibring's Golf Resources redesigned this course in the mid 1990's. Upgrades have continued in the 21st century.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,710 yards. From the forward tees the course plays to 5,376 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 584 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 127 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 2, a 445 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Short Hills Country Club is # 14, the 127 yard par-3.
